Cayo Esquivel Seafood began as a small establishment in Hialeah Gardens. It opened its doors in 1999, by the Palacios Family, and has expanded into two restaurants that foster family, tradition and love for virtuous cuisine.These are the basic concepts that drive our team – serving our best seafood in a family-friendly atmosphere that leaves you wanting to come back for more.
Our name is also infused with history and family, as Cayo Esquivel is a small key off the coast of Sagua La Grande, Cuba, our hometown, and holds heartfelt memories of fun times fishing and snorkeling in our native land.
Our fish is caught fresh mainly from the Florida Keys, the Gulf of México and the Caribbean. It’s then transferred to our restaurant iced. Once arrived, we fillet almost every single fish we serve in-house.
